Terms of use

1. Parties and Scope

These terms govern the relationship between the individuals and organisations using the Subtask service (subtask.app) and the party providing it. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

2. Description of the Service

Subtask is a software service that lets teams run their work from a single application. The main modules are:

  • Issue and task tracking, workspaces, sprint and Gantt planning
  • Meetings, topics and action items
  • Calendar and appointments
  • Team chat and quick notes
  • Knowledge base
  • Human resources, personnel records and organisational chart
  • Leave management and public holiday tracking
  • Help desk and announcements
  • Asset tracking and role management

Modules may change over time, new ones may be added and existing ones removed. If we remove a module we notify registered users in advance.

3. Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account. Keeping your password confidential and preventing unauthorised use of your account is your responsibility. You are responsible for actions taken through your account. If you notice unauthorised access you must tell us immediately.

The company managing an account is responsible for the accuracy of the data of the users it invites and for informing those individuals.

4. Pricing and Payment

Subtask's core features are free with unlimited users. You are not charged according to how many users you have.

Some advanced modules may become paid in the future. In that case:

  • Pricing is applied as a flat rate per company, not per user.
  • We announce that a module is becoming paid before it takes effect.
  • If you do not wish to use a paid module you can switch it off; no charge accrues for a module you have switched off.

As no paid module currently exists, no charge is applied to your account. When paid modules are introduced, payment may be made in the following ways:

  • Credit card: Payment is taken through Iyzico. Your card details are entered on Iyzico's payment page and never reach Subtask servers.
  • Bank transfer: You can transfer to the accounts shown in the application. Transfer notifications are confirmed manually, so your balance may take a short time to appear.
  • Cryptocurrency: Payment can be made with Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT (BEP20). These payments are also confirmed manually.
  • Android application: For payments made through Google Play, Google Play's own sales and refund terms apply.

Billing periods and refund conditions will be published on this page and announced to registered users before paid modules take effect.

5. Access to and Export of Your Data

The data you enter into your account belongs to you. While your account is open you can access your data and export it through the application. We recommend exporting your data before closing your account.

6. Unacceptable Use

You may use the service only for lawful purposes. The following are specifically prohibited:

  • Behaviour that prevents other users from using the service
  • Uploading or distributing malware, viruses or malicious code
  • Attempting to access systems without authorisation or to bypass security measures
  • Processing third parties' personal data unlawfully
  • Overloading the service with automated tools

7. Suspension and Termination

You may close your account at any time. In the event of serious or repeated breach of these terms we may suspend or close your account; wherever possible we give prior notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach. Where there is a security threat, notice may not be given in advance.

8. Intellectual Property

The Subtask software, interface, brand, logo and content belong to the party providing the service. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the service. You may not copy the software, reverse-engineer it or create derivative works from it.

9. Service Continuity and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is". We make no undertaking that it will operate without interruption or error. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates or technical necessity.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data. We recommend keeping your own backup of your data.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The service uses third-party providers and may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those parties. The list of providers we use is set out in the Privacy Policy.

11. Personal Data

The principles governing the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

12. Changes

We may change these terms. Changes take effect on the date they are published on this page. For substantial changes we notify registered users by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes. Your statutory rights as a consumer are reserved.
